Job Posting: Supervisor–Dasmesh Early Learning Centre

We are proud to announce the launch of the Dasmesh Early Learning Centre, a licensed group childcare program for children aged 30 months to 5 years, located on the same campus as the top-ranked Dasmesh Punjabi School. We are seeking an experienced ECE Supervisor to lead operations, pedagogy, and centre development. This role is ideal for a collaborative, values-driven leader who combines strong licensing knowledge with a deep commitment to high-quality, play-based early learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with BC Child Care Licensing Regulations and all health & safety standards
- Provide pedagogical leadership aligned with the BC Early Learning Framework
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise ECE staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
- Implement a responsive, play-based curriculum aligned with the Montessori approach, supporting cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development
- Foster meaningful family partnerships and strong community engagement
- Oversee enrolment, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation
- Build systems, policies, and operational processes to support sustainable growth
- Collaborate with DPEA leadership to align the Centre's vision with the broader educational community
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate
- Must meet BC requirements for Responsible Adult / Supervisor under licensing
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting
- Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring educators
- Strong knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
- Experience with licensing inspections and regulatory compliance
- Current First Aid (Child Care) and Criminal Record Check
- Experience in culturally responsive or Sikh faith-based programming
- Punjabi language skills
- Experience opening or scaling a new childcare program
