MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with approximately 1600 students. All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education. Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance of and agreement with MEI Schools’ Christian values.
MEI Elementary School is seeking qualified applicants for teaching positions that are anticipated to begin September 2, 2026 .
Elementary School
Grade Three Teacher 1.0 FTE
Full-time temporary position for maternity leave coverage with an anticipated start date of September 2 to December 18, 2026.
The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2025-2026 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $67,039 to $109,995.
Positions are open until filled, with the first round of interviews taking place starting February 13.
