School District 10 (Arrow Lakes) has the following continuing contract teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year:

Position: Learning Technologies Support Teacher

School: Itinerant

FTE: 0.6 - Continuing

Effective: September 2, 2025

Salary Range: $63,192 - $112,685 (based on 1.0 FTE)

School District 10, in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern BC is situated on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Sinixt Peoples. Required qualifications / skills include:

  • A valid Teaching Certificate from the BC Teacher Regulation Branch
  • A major or minor in learning technologies or computer science at the university level
  • Experience in teaching learning technologies in classrooms for all grade levels
  • Demonstrated exemplary skills and experience implementing technology and building capacity in the use of technology to support learning, teaching and assessment
  • Exemplary use of formative assessment strategies that engage learners and deepen learning
  • Experience implementing technology to support learning, teaching and assessment
  • Excellent ability to differentiate for all learners and co-plan for diversity and engagement
  • Understanding of Indigenous cultures and experience integrating First Peoples Principles of Learning into teaching practice
  • Successful experience integrating socio-emotional learning and self-regulated learning
  • Successful experience co-planning and co-teaching for student success
  • Commitment and expertise in building relationships with parents and community
  • Excellent classroom management skills and proven ability to engage all learners
  • Commitment to implementing the School Growth Plan and to collaboratively designing school and classroom learning environments
  • Professional learning inquiry experience that informs professional practice
  • Willingness to participate in school and/or district Professional Learning Communities will be an asset
  • Willingness to participate in the school's extra-curricular programs will be an asset
