Summerland Montessori School is a non-profit independent school located in Summerland, British Columbia. Our multi-age classrooms, small class sizes (Kindergarten to Grade 6), and focus on play-based learning create a unique and nurturing environment. • Applicants should model growth mindset and be dedicated to personal and professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Required: BC Professional Teaching Certificate or Montessori Teaching Diploma (or equivalent).
• Preferred:
• Montessori training or willingness to pursue it.
• Experience with discovery-based philosophies like Reggio or play-based learning.
• 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Valid First Aid certification.
