POSITION: Secondary French Teacher
APPOINTMENT: 1.0 FTE Temporary (4 blocks)
START DATE: As soon as possible to return of incumbent, not to exceed June 30, 2026
Qualifications Required:
- degree in secondary education with a major in French;
- recent successful classroom experience teaching at the secondary level in the subject area;
- ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;
- knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;
- demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;
- effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;
- ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and
- BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.

Teacher Pay is based on years of experience and TQS category (link July 2024 Salary Grid ).
