Located in British Columbia’s interior region, School District No. 57, serves approximately 13,000 students and 2,000 staff in the communities and surrounding areas of Prince George, Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount. Prince George Secondary School is a dynamic school that houses more than 1400 students in grades 8 - 12. Professional and personal skills and abilities:
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree or evidence of current enrolment in a post-graduate study leading to a Master’s Degree in an appropriate educational field. Candidates must have a valid B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB) Certificate and minimum of 5 years teaching and/or administrative experience. Candidates must have a successful portfolio of experiences gained through working in a variety of schools and have demonstrated experience leading learning initiatives at a school or at the district level. The salary range for a Principal is $159,034 to $167,556, along with a comprehensive benefit package.
