Indigenous Youth Engagement Support Worker
REGULAR PART-TIME – 17.5 hours/week & TEMPORARY PART-TIME – 17.5 hours/week = 35 hours
The regular position supports BC School for the Deaf (Secondary) and the school location and schedule will be determined for the temporary District position. Please note that the temporary hours may increase or decrease during the assignment depending on the incumbent's return.
The Burnaby School District is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic individual who enjoys challenges, seizes opportunities and wants to make a difference, to join our Indigenous Youth Engagement Support team. The successful applicant will mentor and support Indigenous youth to identify and access the necessary district and community support programs providing direct support to students in relation to their individual social, emotional and learning needs.
