School District No. 44 (North Vancouver) is located in the province of British Columbia, immediately north of the City of Vancouver, across the Burrard Inlet. The district includes the City and District of North Vancouver.

The Role
The role of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Operations Manager is wide-ranging and involves collaboration and project work with colleagues across the ICT department, schools, and other district sites.
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the district's service request system effectively meets the needs of both technicians and end users. This includes coordinating and assigning daily service requests to ICT technicians and field support staff, while balancing workload distribution in alignment with user needs and departmental priorities.
The ICT Operations Manager works closely with the Director of ICT and ICT Leadership on planning, operations, system reviews, and the implementation of new technologies. This includes contributing to the development of technology plans for school principals, managers, and directors.
The successful candidate will bring a minimum of five years' experience managing ICT operational assignments and projects, along with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and demonstrated knowledge of networking and telecommunications principles.
Desirable Training and Experience
This is an exempt position. Salary and benefits are commensurate with the responsibilities of the role. The salary range for this position is $104,645 to $111,189.
