Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools (NLPS) is seeking a skilled and experienced person to join our team as a Secondary Teacher covering a temporarily (0.9285 FTE) Auto-Tech, Power Mechanics and Metal Works vacancy for one (1) semester from September 1, 2026, to January 29, 2027, or until the return of the incumbent, at Dover Bay Secondary School.

About the Role
Secondary Teachers as employees carry out educational tasks such as establishing learning standards in relation to the curricular competencies and content from BC’s Curriculum, identifying educational needs, developing educational programs or activities, providing interventions and supports for learners to succeed, and creating a learning environment that supports diversity, equity and inclusivity, modelling the Professional Standards for BC Educators .

Salary: $62,657 - $113,004 per annum
