The School District:
We serve 2,825 students in our standard schools and an additional 900 FTEs at EBUS Academy, one of the largest online schools in British Columbia. The Community:
The village of Burns Lake and the surrounding area stand out for their rich First Nations culture and exceptional mountain biking and hiking trails. In winter, the area transforms into a haven for cross - country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of the Lakes District, Burns Lake is surrounded by many lakes, offering year-round fishing, hunting, and a variety of water sports during the summer months.
The local First Nations, including Wetʼsuwetʼen First Nation, Lake Babine Nation, Cheslatta Carrier Nation, Ts'il Kaz Koh First Nation, Skin Tyee First Nation and Nee-Tahi-Buhn Band, contribute to the historical, cultural and economic diversity of the region.

Qualifications and Abilities:
The salary range for this position is determined by the BC Public Service Employer Association (BCPSEA). Placement on the salary range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
