SERVICE LEARNING & COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR (1.0 FTE)

THE POSITION?

  • You are an inspiring and highly empathetic servant leader with a resume documenting rich experiences in ministry, non-profit work or education with a proven track record of leading service and outreach.
  • You have well-established connections and relationships with community-based and global organizations, churches, schools, outreach programs, and/or ministries that serve the vulnerable or less fortunate in local communities and beyond.
  • You have the ability to teach in the HS program effectively and create the scaffolding to support a vibrant and dynamic service and outreach program for K-12 students.
  • You can build relationships with colleagues to collaboratively support the integration of service learning and curricular learning targets.
  • Willingness to work irregular times including weekends, evenings, and extended service trips both during the school year and over some school breaks.


WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Annual salary range of $68,135 – 112,660

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid BC teaching certification or independent schools teaching certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
  • Alternatively; a ministerial designation or theological studies would be an asset
  • Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local
  • Strong communication, program recruitment, and technology skills
  • High level understanding of travel planning (local and international), documentation, booking, and logistics for large student groups
  • Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community.
