Given the resignation of the incumbent, we are seeking to fill the role of Vice-Principal at Chatelech Secondary School in Sechelt commencing in August 2025. This is a continuing appointment, and the successful applicant may be placed at other schools in the District in future years. The salary range for this position currently is: $138,313 to $145,721.
If you have the following qualifications, we invite you to apply!
• Evidence of successful teaching and educational leadership experience (in a secondary school, preferred, given the initial placement)
• Academic preparation/post-graduate work
• Demonstrated ability to develop a school culture of collaboration, innovation and inquiry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Possession of, or eligibility for, a BC teaching certificate
• Previous school administrative experience is an asset
• A demonstrated commitment to action towards Truth and Reconciliation
• Commitment to cooperative, site-based, school management
