The Visual Language Interpreter facilitates communication between deaf, hard of hearing and hearing students and staff by providing interpretive services in and out of the classroom and reinforcing the student’s educational program.

COMPENSATION
Term Assignments: As per the CUPE collective agreement the wage for the long term assignments is $38.77 per hour plus benefits package: Municipal Pension, health, vacation & sick benefits effective once required hours have been met.
Casual On-Call Spareboard: The wages for the Casual On-Call positions is $38.77 per hour with no benefit or pension options. Opportunities will exist to apply into Term Assignments as they become available.
