Cariboo-Chilcotin School District is one of the largest employers in the Cariboo-Chilcotin Region with over 850 employees, serving approximately 4500 students from kindergarten to Grade 12 in 22 schools. The School District is in a vast, spectacular geographic region of the province and is on the traditional and unceded territories of the Secwépemc, Tsilhqot'in, and Dakelh First Nations. 100 Mile Elementary services approximately 300 students, including a French Immersion program and is located in the South Cariboo region.
