We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Grades 6/7 Teacher for the 2026/27 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who inspires curiosity, embraces innovation, and contributes to a warm, student-centered school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver the IB MYP curriculum for Grades 6/7 in preparation for transition to the our Senior School and the IB DP program

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, with differentiated instruction to support diverse learners

Collaborate on curriculum, assessment, and school initiatives

Build strong relationships with families and the school community
Qualifications:

BC Certified Teacher (or in process with BC TRB — proof required)

3–5 years of IB teaching experience is strongly preferred

Strong understanding of inquiry-based pedagogy and assessment

Effective communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Compensation: $65,000–$115,000 (based on TQS and experience)
Start Date: Monday, August 24, 2026
Contract Type: 1.0 FTE, Full-time, permanent
