About Us:
Maple Hill School is and independent school located in Richmond, BC. We offer Grades 9-12 and focus on international students where we provide small class sizes. During the summer, we offer a condensed 5 week summer semester to students. We are looking for teachers who are wanting to teach one or two courses over a 5 week semester during this upcoming summer (Summer 2026).
Position Overview:
We currently have need for senior level science teachers to fill open positions for the upcoming summer semester. We run two long blocks each day and teachers can choose to handle one block or two. The semester runs from June 29th, 2026 to August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to small class sizes, ensuring student engagement and achievement.
- Plan and implement dynamic lessons that align with the BC curriculum framework and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Candidates need to be licensed to teach in BC through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch
- Prefer candidates with at least two years of teaching experience .
- Demonstrated expertise in the BC curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage students in the learning process.
