Under the direction of the Manager, Custodial Services, you will be mobile within the Abbotsford School District and be available to work on short notice in the Custodial Department for on call assignments. You must be available to work dayshift, afternoon shift, night shift and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Grade 12 or GED, a Building Service Worker Certificate from a recognized community college (or ability to obtain within 3 months of being hired), a basic knowledge and aptitude of computer operation, reliable transportation and a valid BC driver’s license. Preference will be given to applicants with recent, related work experience.

The current salary rate is $23.38 - $25.06 per hour with an additional 8% of straight time in lieu of statutory and non-statutory benefits.
Please Note: Successful candidates will be required to attend a training program with the school district, during which time the hourly rate will be paid at minimum wage. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be placed on our casual custodian dispatch list.
