POSITION: Teacher - temporary
ASSIGNMENT: Intermediate (Gr 5-6)
FTE: 0.2
LOCATION: Dragon Lake Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing January 15, 2024 until June 30, 2024 or earlier depending on the return of the incumbent.
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Intermediate Education with Specialization at the Intermediate Level.
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the Intermediate level.
A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The starting annual salary for this part-time Intermediate Teacher ranges from $59,394 to $106,217 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
