Position Description
A temporary full time (1.0) Intermediate Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The assignment will be at Wonowon Elementary School.
Wonowon is a rural elementary school located at mile 101 of the historic Alaska Highway, 85 km north of Fort St John. The school has five teachers, one of whom acts as head teacher. Wonowon Elementary receives district library and administrative support. Wonowon has a student population of 83, many of whom are of Russian-German background. The school has three classrooms, a portable, a gym, and outdoor play area that includes a skating rink. See www.wonowon.prn.bc.ca for more information
