Surrey Schools is seeking to fill a position in our Technologist team! Reporting to the Manager of Electrical, this position is responsible for providing exceptional technical and electrical information support to ensure maintenance programs and projects adhere to applicable codes, by-laws & regulations. This position develops, plan, organize and schedule maintenance and other electrical projects. The position communicates between internal and external consultants/contractors/suppliers to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects and as such the ideal candidates must have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Success in this position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines as well as respond to time-oriented emergencies. The Technologist role requires thorough knowledge of computer applications and software applications related to the role.

This is a unionized position that offers a 37.5 hour work week with an hourly wage rate of $36.18 plus a liberal benefit package including Municipal Pension, health, vacation and sick benefits.
