Teachers on Call
The District welcomes Teacher on Call applicants for Port Alberni and the West Coast (Tofino and Ucluelet).
The communities of Port Alberni, Tofino and Ucluelet offer an abundance of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, boating, and surfing.
Teacher-On-Call candidates must include the following information in their electronic portfolio:
- TOC Application Form.pdf (available on website: www.sd70.bc.ca)
- covering letter
- current resume
- most recent teaching report or student practicum report
- proof of British Columbia College of Teachers (BCCT) membership
- Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) placement
In addition to their electronic portfolio, Teacher-On-Call applicants are required to provide two confidential references using the SD70 Professional Reference Form.pdf (available on website: www.sd70.bc.ca) and should be forwarded directly by the referee to Hannah Fletcher, Executive Assistant - HR: hfletcher@sd70.bc.ca
