CHILD CARE WORKER - Casual
School District No. 46 is looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Child Care Worker On-Call team and to fill temporary positions.
Child Care Workers work in collaboration with school staff and other agencies to foster and develop an individual student's potential. This may include providing counselling to students and parents; liaising with teachers and other school personnel, parents/guardians, social, legal and medical agencies; and assisting with planning and implementation of instructional and behavioural programs.
Successful candidates will have a Grade 12 education, a Child and Youth Care Diploma (or similar approved program), and a minimum of 4 years' experience working with school-aged children. Other qualifications include Conflict Resolution training, valid First Aid certification, and a valid class 5 BC driver's license.
