(ELL) ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS TEACHER

If you share our passion for creating an inspiring Learning Community, we are accepting applications for 1.0 FTE Continuing ELL Teachers. ELL teachers are hired to the district with placement in school at the needs of the district.
Itinerant ELL Teacher K-8. A thorough understanding of the SIOP Model, CALLA, or Knowledge Framework is an asset.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Education (Elementary, Middle or Secondary) degree, or equivalent training.
- A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress.
- Courses equal to 30 credits including 12 credits in linguistics (of which 6 credits shall relate to second language acquisition)
- Plus 6 credits in ESL methodology and 6 credits in cross-culture education
- or equivalent training or experience
