School District 46 is looking for an Inclusion Support and Literacy/Numeracy Support teacher, effective September 1, 2023. The position is located at Gibsons Elementary, in the picturesque seaside town of Gibsons, B.C. The school is a bustling centre of activity for the community, with a community school, Strong Start and Early Learning programs, on-site student breakfast program, and an after-school Kids Club.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of case management, literacy and numeracy support, and small group work.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree, graduate diploma, post baccalaureate or degree in Special Education and experience working in Special Education.
- Evidence of the successful application of instructional and professional skills at the Primary Level.
