POSITION: District Itinerant Teacher- Primary Literacy - temporary ASSIGNMENT: Primary Literacy - Provides support to students and staff at the school and district levels FTE: 1.0 LOCATION: District Administration Office EFFECTIVE DATE: Commencing September 1, 2023 until June 30, 2024, or earlier depending on the return of the incumbent with the possibility of reduction in FTE. The learning assistance teacher provides services to students and staff in the regular classroom as well as alternate environments and must be able to work in a collaborative and consultative manner with classroom teachers, principals, the school-based team, special education assistants and others. The starting annual salary for this full-time District Itinerant Teacher, Primary Literacy ranges from $59,394 to $106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
