High School French Teacher – 1.0 FTE Temporary position (Maternity Leave)

Pacific Academy is seeking for a temporary, full time (1.0 FTE) French Teacher for the High School. This position is to cover a maternity leave from August 2024 to June 2025. The responsibilities for this role encompass teaching French 9-12, including IB French 11 and 12. Ability to teach Spanish would be an asset.

Qualifications:

Candidates should:

• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
• Experience teaching International Baccalaureate French would be an asset
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• An ability to teach Spanish would be an asset
