The starting annual salary for this Secondary School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach French 9, 10 and Social Studies 9.
Education & Experience
- Major/minor in French, History or related Social Science
- Major practicum work in French Immersion
- Experience teaching junior level students French Immersion at the secondary level
- Experience utilizing IB assessment practices
- Experience teaching Social Studies at the Secondary level
- Eligible for B.C. Certification
- Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports
