Head of Student Support & Well-being – 1.0 FTE Continuing Position

Pacific Academy is seeking a full-time Head of Student Support & Well-being to commence August 2024. As an integral member of the academic leadership team, the Head of Student Support & Well-being will coordinate inclusive education and student support services across the school.

The Head of Student Support & Well-being will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, school-wide inclusive education program including learning support and counselling services.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a valid BC teaching certificate
• Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education and to upholding Christian values.
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith.
• Have a passion for supporting students' holistic development
• Possess a Master’s degree or equivalent
• Have at least 5 years’ demonstrated leadership experience in a K-12 school setting
• Have experience in K-12 school-based learning support and/or counselling
• Broad teaching experience is highly valued
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Have excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
