Music & Arts Teacher
Effective: Part Time, 2023-2024 School Year
St. Joseph School provides students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 excellent academics in small class sizes, while emphasizing Christian values in all our programs. Each student is supported to grow and develop to the best of his/her potential in body, mind and spirit through enriching programs offered in a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking for a Part Time Teacher with knowledge and experience in Music education and Arts (music, band and musical theatre) to join our community of highly dedicated Educators.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
- Commitment to Catholic Education
- Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
- Successful teaching experience
- Training specific to Music and Arts
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students and families, colleagues and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters

As a condition of employment, successful candidates must complete Diocesan Safe Environment training and will be required to submit the following:
- Certified statement(s) of previous teaching experience
- Photocopy of Canadian Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport (documentation to indicate you are legally entitled to work in Canada).
- Social Insurance Number
- Photocopy of Driver's License
