Brockton School is a nondenominational coeducational Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, independent school, located in North Vancouver, British Columbia. As an IB World Continuum School, Brockton offers the Primary Years, Middle Years, Diploma, and Career-Related programs (one of a handful of schools around the globe with such innovative programming).

Senior School Mathematics Teacher
Brockton School is currently seeking a Senior School Mathematics Teacher. As part of the Senior School faculty and the Math Department, this individual will report to the Senior School Principal and will work with colleagues including but not limited to Department Chairs, IB Coordinators, and other key members of staff.
Qualifications:
❏ BC Teacher Certification (Teachers Regulation Branch) in the form of a Certificate of Qualification (CoQ) or Independent School Teaching Certificate (ISTC)
❏ Interest in being part of a dynamic and visionary IB school community
❏ Post-secondary degree in mathematics and/or computer science
Ideal characteristics:
❏ Experience in teaching (or proven ability to teach) Mathematics 8-10, Pre-Calculus 11 and Pre-calculus 12
❏ Experience in teaching higher level math courses is an asset. Such courses might include, but are not limited to BC Calculus 12, AP Calculus, IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL/HL, and/or IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation SL/HL
❏ 3-5 years of successful teaching experience in the curricular field(s)
❏ DP and MYP teaching experience or Advanced Placement experience is an asset
❏ A love of collaboration and shared problem-solving
❏ A passion for learning and an openness to feedback
