LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER
West Bay Elementary
Part-time (0.4 FTE) term position
Effective September 5, 2023 until June 30, 2024
Required Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Diploma in Special Education
- Current knowledge and experience working with students with both high and low incidence disabilities
- Current knowledge and experience writing IEPs, developing appropriate programming for students with special needs and conducting school based team meetings
- Additional qualifications as per Special Education Services: a Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
- Certificate of Qualification from the Teacher Regulation Branch
* This District LST position will be assigned to West Bay; however, LST positions are district-based positions and the location may be changed subject to operational and student needs.
