The Cowichan Valley School District is accepting applications for the position of Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) , 0.2 temporary FTE, effective ASAP to June 30, 2024.
This position requires:
- an associated professional with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology;
- full member in good standing with a current certificate of registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and current membership or eligibility for membership in BC Association of Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists (BCASLPA) or Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists (CASLPA);
- related work experience preferably in an education setting;
- demonstrated ability to administer, interpret standardized assessment tools, and deliver individual and group therapy interventions based upon assessment findings, IEP goals;
- excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration skills.
