Clerical & Administrative positions within a school play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. They possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software. Their responsibilities often include student enrollment, managing budgets, coordinating meetings, and providing support to both faculty and students. Ultimately, these roles are essential in fostering an efficient and productive learning environment within the school community. Once hired, a casual employee can view all internal postings for Term and Continuing positions and has the contractual right to post into vacancies to secure more consistent and/or guaranteed hours.

  • Compensation - Differs by specific position ($26.89 to $29.89 per hour)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 graduation including/supplemented by typing (60 wpm) and general office procedures
  • Six months to one year related experience and education in Bookkeeping/Accounting, Database Management.
  • Excellent telephone, presentation, organization, and computer skills are essential
  • Ability to work with constant interruptions and to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and ability to use tact in the routine exchange or provision of information
  • Good knowledge of Business English, punctuation and spelling
