French Immersion Posting
School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for qualified French Immersion Teachers.
Interested applicants must possess a record of successful performance in a French Immersion classroom, Degree certification or a Professional Specialty Certificate in French Immersion, or complete a District assessment with oral and written components.

- Cover letter
- Resume including references (must include phone and email contact information for three professional references
- British Columbia teaching certificate
- TQS category card
- Transcripts from all relevant post-secondary education
- Practicum evaluation or recent teaching report
Compensation:
- $1,500 one-time signing bonus for new French Teachers
- Up to $1,500 reimbursement of French Teacher candidate expenses associated with travel to visit the community*
- Up to $5,000 relocation allowance for new French Teachers*
- Up to $2,000 reimbursement of immigration expenses for new French teachers*
*receipts/invoices required
Salary as per the Collective Agreement. Current salary grid is $64,594 to $106,217, prorated to FTE. Placement on the grid is based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Benefits as per the Collective Agreement with option to enroll in medical, dental, extended health, and group life insurance. Benefits are employer paid based on FTE.
