POSITION: Primary Teacher - temporary
ASSIGNMENT: Kindergarten
FTE: 1.0
LOCATION: Lakeview Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 18, 2023 until June 30, 2024
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary level
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary level
A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The starting annual salary for this full-time Primary Teacher, Kindergarten, ranges from $59,394 to $106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
