Job Description
School District 46 is looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Supervision Assistant On-Call team and to fill temporary positions. This position would suit those looking for part-time work and able to work the hours of a school day. The rate of pay is currently $18.67/hour.
Supervision Assistants work with school teams to provide general supervision to students and to promote positive interactions during designated periods. This could include class time, playground or loading/unloading school buses. A valid first aid certificate is required, and Conflict Resolution training would be considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma
- A valid first aid certificate (or proof of registration in a course)
Skills:
- Patient and helpful with the public, staff and students
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain a positive work environment
