INDIGENOUS SUPPORT WORKER
ISW work is a great way to make a meaningful difference in lives of students throughout the district.
Ideal candidates should have:
Up to one academic year of coursework related to Child Youth Care or equivalent training and experience
Job related experience working with children and youth for greater than 12 months
An understanding of indigenous culture
A good understanding of behaviour management techniques
Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate, once hired
Physically capable of performing the job duties
This is a unionized position with a pay rate as of July 1, 2024 of $34.22 per hour.
