POSITION: Teacher - temporary ASSIGNMENT: Primary/Intermediate (Gr 3 - 4) FTE: 1.0 LOCATION: Voyageur Elementary School EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 11, 2023 until June 30, 2024 Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following: Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the intermediate level Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff. The starting annual salary for this full-time Primary/Intermediate Teacher, (Gr 3-4), ranges from $59,394 to $106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension. |
