Outdoor Explorations Instructors plan and teach this enrichment program through local place-based, inquiry-play, experiential learning.
Students explore the biodiversity found in local areas, learn survival and safety skills, and develop environmental literacy through hands-on activities. Under the direction of the program coordinator, instructors teach an on-site outdoor class 21 days in the year (3 terms; 7 classes per term; 3 hours per class).

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
Teachers who are certified by the B.C. Teachers Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools are preferred; however, applications from non-certified individuals who meet all other criteria will be considered. Applicants must also be Christian and agree with RCOA's statement of faith.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience related to working in outdoor education-based programs is required. Experience with Online and Home Learning is an asset but not required.
REMUNERATION:
$42,500-$77,500 depending on qualifications x 0.1 FTE
