• Have an understanding of the Early Learning Framework of BC
• Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
• Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters

Duties specific this this posting:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following Inclusive Education Coordinator duties:

• Lead a team of EAs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school administration to support students
• Organize school based team meetings as required
• Writing and maintaining IEPs and accommodation checklists for IE students
• Coordinate outside services (SLP, BIT, diagnostic testing)
• Coordinate parent meetings as required and/or requested
• Other duties as assignment by the school's administration

The successful candidate will be responsible for teh following teaching duties:

• Teach grade 5 students 0.4FTE

• Work collaboratively with teachers and school administration to support students

• Plan for lessons, teach, and assess students
• Other duties as assigned by the school's administration
