Effective immediately. Full Time Continuing Occupational Therapist.
Occupational therapy is a professional health discipline that utilizes the analysis and application of activities specifically related to performance in the areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure. Occuational therapists (OT) employed by a school district work to promote, maintain, and develop the skills needed by students to be functional in a school setting. The services provided by the OT in schools includes assessments, consultation with the School Based Team, program planning and training, and assistance in treatment and equipment selection to allow all students to have their therapeutic goals included in there educational routines.
