The diocese is located in the beautiful Okanagan and Kootenay regions of British Columbia. Kindergarten Teacher

We have an opportunity for a patient, nurturing full-time Teacher to join our community of highly dedicated educators. This permanent position is for the Kindergarten classroom, for immediate start in September. If this is where you feel you belong, please apply.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
- Commitment to Catholic Education
- Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
- Successful teaching experience, preferably primary years
- Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
- Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters

- Certificate of Catholic baptism or RCIA Certificate

As a condition of employment, successful candidates must complete Diocesan Safe Environment training and will be required to submit the following:
- Certified statement(s) of previous teaching experience
- Photocopy of Canadian Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport (documentation to indicate you are legally entitled to work in Canada)
- Social Insurance Number
- Photocopy of Driver's License
