1.0 FTE French - Music Teacher

at Sacred Heart K-7 School in Prince George BC

This is a 1.0 FTE teacher position beginning September 1 st , 2026.

Applicants must hold, or be eligible for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate.

Successful candidates must be current in teaching practices and understand the BC Curriculum: e.g. Learning Standards, Assessment for Learning (AFL) practice, and core competencies. A commitment to Catholic values and lifestyle is essential.

Proficiency with elementary French and previous experience teaching French is an essential.

K-7 Music previous experience in the arts, and with teaching music is a pre- requisite. It is preferable that the applicant have specific qualifications to teach music and experience teaching music at the elementary school level

Applicants from outside Canada must already have Immigration Visa requirements in place to work in Canada.

Annual salary range based on teaching experience $55,870.00 – $101,642.00
