SUMMARY:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teacher interested in teaching a multi-grade online class, two sessions per week via Zoom, plus overseeing at-home learning and assessment throughout the school year. Partners in Education (PIE) teachers plan, teach, and assess learners in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and ADST through hands-on learning and project-based assignments. This includes supplemental activities that learners complete at home. Applicants should enjoy working in a team with other teachers and support staff.
The following position is available starting in September 2024:
- Virtual PIE Grades 4-7 (Monday & Wednesday Mornings - 0.24 FTE) with remuneration $11.933-$20,014 depending on level of education and prior experience
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
PIE Teachers must be certified by the B.C. Teachers Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools and must agree with RCOA’s statement of faith.
