St. Ann’s Catholic School is located in Quesnel, BC. The school enrolls approximately 120 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. For the 2024 - 2025 school year, we are seeking a skilled, qualified candidate to join our team as a 0.4 FTE teacher with the subject assignment area of Religion. This position commences September 1, 2024 and concludes June 30, 2025.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• active membership in a Catholic parish
• commitment to excellence in Catholic education
• Aptitude to differentiate instruction based on student needs
• Knowledge of current instructional practices and the renewed curriculum
• Experience using innovative teaching methods in both primary and intermediate classrooms, that may include remote learning experiences
• Well-versed in the ability to integrate Catholic culture in the classroom
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods;
• Excellent and proven classroom management skills
• Exceptional communication strategies with students, staff, and parents.
• a genuine sense of joy in teaching and learning
• a valid TRB certification
• the desire to provide leadership of extracurricular activities
