St. Joseph School provides students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 excellent academics in small class sizes, while emphasizing Christian values in all our programs. Each student is supported to grow and develop to the best of his/her potential in body, mind and spirit through enriching programs offered in a safe and nurturing environment. We are in need of a highly dedicated Educational Assistant to join our close-knit family community for daily in-class student support.  

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

• Commitment to Catholic Education
• Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
• Training specific to the role (Educational Assistant)
• Additional training in Applied Behavioral Analysis/Intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder and CPI are an asset
  
• Successful Educational Assistant experience
• Ability to work well with children, colleagues and administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  
• First Aid Training Certificate is an asset
