TEACHING PRINCIPALSHIP FOR BABINE ELEMENTARY SECONDARY SCHOOL

Applications are invited for the Teaching Principalship of Babine Elementary Secondary School, Granisle, BC. The start date for this position is effective August 1, 2023.

THE SCHOOL DISTRICT:

Nechako Lakes is situated on the traditional territories of fourteen First Nations encompassing the Dakelh, Nedut’en and Wet’suweten peoples.  The school district encompasses five municipalities, the Districts of Fort St James and Vanderhoof and the Villages of Fraser Lake, Burns Lake and Granisle.  This large area served by our school district has a population of just under 40,000 residents in the beautiful north central BC. We serve 3000 students in our standard schools and another 900 FTE at EBUS Academy, one of the largest online schools in British Columbia.  Our region has affordable housing, welcoming communities and a lower cost of living compared to many other regions.
