
We are welcoming applications for the Occupational Therapist position at School District 46 for the 2022-2023 school year. This temporary full-time (35 hours/week) itinerant position works closely with the team at Inclusion Support Services.
The main duties are to provide consultative services to students as assigned, from K-12. This includes providing assessments, recommendations to staff and families, determination of equipment needs, training of staff, and liaising with external professionals and agencies as required. The starting wage is $46.45 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of B.C.
- Experience working with student-aged children, especially those with multiple physical challenges
- Experience working with children in integrated settings and working with multidisciplinary teams would be considered an asset

- Ability to liaise between school staff, divisional staff and outside agencies
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain a positive work environment
