LEARNING ASSISTANCE RESOURCE TEACHER (LART)

School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for qualified Learning Assistance Resource Teachers.  Based on a needs assessment we are looking to fill current openings and future job openings in the Spring of 2022.

 Interested applicants must possess a record of successful performance in the regular classroom for a minimum of three years, demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other teachers, parents, support staff, administration, and outside agencies.  Academic credentials include a diploma or Masters degree in Special Education (successful completion of the Queens University Part One and Two in conjunction with the Level B Assessment Course also qualifies you for this role).
