• Successful teaching experience, primary years education
• Additional professional experience or courses in adolescent learning and social emotional needs
• Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
• Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
